CURRENT PROJECTS
Snake River Energy Solar
A proposed utility-scale solar and battery storage project on BLM-managed land in Gooding and Lincoln counties, about 20 miles north of Twin Falls, Idaho. It will connect to Idaho Power’s grid near the Midpoint Substation, delivering reliable, locally sourced power to Idahoans at a fair, competitive price.
Power for Idaho, from Idaho.
Rhea Data
Rhea is a proposed data center campus on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) public land in Ada County, approximately 3.5 miles south of Boise, near the Blacks Creek exit off Interstate 84. If approved, it would include up to 10 single-story buildings totaling approximately 4 million square feet, with planned capacity of up to 600 megawatts (MW).
PAST PROJECTS
Gemini Solar
The Gemini Solar Project is expected to be the largest solar-powered battery system in the world, featuring a 690 MW AC solar photovoltaic array coupled with a 380 MW AC battery storage system capable of saving over 1,400 MW hours of low-cost, renewable power each day and discharging it to NV Energy’s customers throughout southern Nevada when most needed. Gemini will be located 25 miles northeast of downtown Las Vegas on approximately 7,100 acres of federally owned land under the Bureau of Land Management.
